Rio

Are you ready for this upcoming and very much anticipated movie?

Welcome back to Lyndon Speaks!

And yes! I am also excited and will surely watch this exciting movie. Featuring the voices of some of the biggest names in Hollywood - Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Black Eyed Peas' Will I Am, and Glee's Jane Lynch to name a few - this powerhouse cast will lend voices to what may be a sure hit band of animals. Rio may be loved by both the young and the young at hearts.

Rio will hit the box office on the 15th of April.

While waiting for the 15th, McDonald's Philippines is treating all soon-to-be fans with a special edition of Rio collectibles. Comes with the Happy Meal, the cute guys from Rio are sure worth collecting. I got and started one myself. Love ko 'to!

TVD: The Big Bad Guy - Unmasked

It will be an early Christmas for my fellow Vampire Diaries fans. Santa is about to come!

Welcome back to the all new Lyndon Speaks.

The existence of the Originals were made known in the world of the Vampire Diaries this season. The Originals, also known as the Old Ones, were the first thus making them the oldest vampires in the world. Living as an undead for a long time makes the Originals probably the most powerful among the blood-sucking creatures in the series. Even the menacing Katherine is afraid of an Original. We have already met one in this season - Elijah. And even the Salvatore Brothers are no match for him. The identity of the oldest and the baddest among the Originals was revealed early this season. The name Klaus puts a thrill in every TVD fans' faces.

But we always hear the name. We haven't got to see the face. Finally, Klaus is unmasked. Who's the lucky one who we will love to hate?

Klaus...

British actor Joseph Morgan, born Joseph Martin, was from Swansea in Wales. Joseph has starred in different movies: Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Alexander, Mister Lonely, Mansfield Park [source: IMDb]. Joseph will join Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce), Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore), and Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) in the top-rated series The Vampire Diaries. The british actor will give a face to the oldest and baddest vampire - Klaus.

The next new episode of The Vampire Diaries will air on April 7th. And news has it that Klaus will make his debut on the 21st of April.

I believe that this is a very exciting news for fellow fans like me. For now, all we have to do is to sit back, relax and wait for the next new exciting episodes of the series that we all learned to love.

Better be good, better be nice, better not be naughty, 'cause Klaus is coming to town. :)

'til on my next one! Later!

Klaus on!

Keeping Safe

Welcome back to the all new Lyndon Speaks!

Streets, schools, parks, restaurants, offices, cars, or even on your homes - these are just a few of the many places where you can be caught off-guard by people whose only mission in life is to inflict danger and hurt on other people. We may not know when or where these beings will strike but we could always be prepared.

Lyndon Speaks shares with you tips on how to keep safe. I may not be well-versed with this topic as I have not experienced such, but I think that these tips are from somewhere we tend to forget and ignore - common sense!

--------------------oOo--------------------

Avoid being too social. Technology may be one's best friend and another's worst enemy. Cyber crimes are all over the web. For a minute, you may be thinking that you are making new friends over a famous social networking site but then you'll realize that you are too late and could not go out of the danger you walked into. There is nothing wrong with being social, but always remember that too much of anything isn't good. Learn to know when to be social. Do not give your trust right away. Remember that your trust should always be hard-earned and not just a click away. :)

This may be one of the golden rules of being safe: Do not talk to strangers. When we were younger, our parents try to remind us every single day to never talk to strangers. But as we grow older (and dumber) we tend to forget this simple rule. Stranger is a person with whom one has had no personal acquaintance. So why on earth will you talk with such persons?! We may not always avoid talking to strangers, for instance those who are just asking for directions. Just always keep in mind to be extra careful when dealing with this people. You do not have anything to lose by being vigilant, but you have everything to lose by being careless. :)

Never leave your valuables unattended. Guilty?! A lot of us may be. Guilty of leaving your phones or wallets on your office desk? Guilty of leaving your cars and homes unlocked while you are away or sleeping? Guilty of being preoccupied with gossips while eating and leaving your things on the table, beside you, or under the chair? If you answered yes to any of the questions, this may be the time to think twice and change what you have always been doing. Always take care of your personal belongings. Did I tell you that you should also not leave your boyfriends/girlfriends unattended? In the first place they are considered your valuables. :)

Have you ever noticed that in movies bad things always happen in dark alleyways? When you are watching your favorite TV crime shows do you always expect that something not good will happen if the scene is on an alley where there is no people? Hahaha. You should also do the same in real life. Besides from the place being scary-looking, alleyways are where most petty and some huge crimes take place. You don't want to see yourself as the victim of your very own crime show. :)

Show-offs! These are the first ones who cry for help, the first people who set their social network statuses to "I've been robbed!". Well, you will never be a victim of such if you have just kept your phones, your laptops, your things to yourself. Show-offs are the eye-candy of every robber, the gold on the rainbow's end of every evil-doer. Why give them the things that you worked hard for? Take good care of your belongings, do not show them off, no one cares about your expensive things but the people who haven't got any good intentions for them. Humility pays off! :)

Look smart! People who look stupid are the easiest prey and are on the lowest part of the food chain. People who look like they do not know what's going on are the easy targets for those evil beings. People who look like they cannot fight for themselves are on the top of the list of most likely to be robbed. People who do not look smart are easily abused on buses and other public transportations. Snatchers look for people who seem like they cannot fight for themselves. Just look smart even if you are not! Be confident when outdoors. Do not be caught off-guard. Be man enough while outdoors. No one wants to be thought of as stupid. Or are there? ;)

--------------------oOo--------------------

These are just a few of numerous tips to follow to be safe. But nothing compares to this: use your common sense. But I guess that that is not as common as it sounds. :)

'til next time. I hope that this will help you and will make a difference in your lives.

See yah! Be safe!

Safety on!
